Shaman Spirits is the only private owned spirits distillery in Finland and the northernmost distillery in the world.
The raw material in distillation process is potato. The speciality is potato vodka. The factory is located in Tyrnävä, which is classified as a High Grade potato production area in EU. The factory produces many kinds of alcoholic beverages; different vodkas, liqueurs and different flavoured spirits. Annual production is about 1.000.000 bottles of different alcoholic drinks.
Shaman Spirits has traditionally worked only with domestic market. Characteristic for Finnish (Nordic) alcohol market is monopoly distribution, high alcohol taxation and a marketing ban of stronger alcoholic drinks. Therefore the company is now setting effort on export.
