Reload with inspiration from Stockholm. Art Director Anna W Thurfjell shows the design concept for the weekend in SvD among 10 other design trends.

Anna W Thurfjell have worked as an editorial newspaper designer since 2000 with the majority of that time spent as Art Director of Svenska Dagbladet. During that period she had the opportunity and trust to develop the 125 year-old quality newspaper to a modern contemporary newspaper. When it re-launched in November 2004 it was considered a ‘role model’ in the Nordic newspaper market. Anna has also been a judge at newspaper design competitions: European Newspaper Competition, Berlin 2009, SND, Syracuse, US 2009 and SND/S, Billund, Denmark 2008. Her latest work was the re-launch of SvD in August 2009, the redesign is both the daily and weekend paper and all supplements.
